A Family Holiday at The Palm, Atlantis in Dubai
The Palm Atlantis hotel offers spacious guest rooms and suits with each room designed with subtle oceanic and Arabic influences. All come with fabulous views of either the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf, or of Palm Jumeirah. In fact there is a fairly distinct aquatic theme throughout all the accommodation here, and each room offers fantastic comfort and there is always something new to do every day which makes a holiday here the holiday of a lifetime.
From recreational activities to excursions, there are plenty of things for the whole family to enjoy during a stay here.
Dolphin Bay is an innovative dolphin education centre where you can learn all about the dolphins that make their home here, as well as exploring the four and a half hectares with lagoons where you can meet and interact with these graceful creatures. Touching, hugging, holding hands and playing ball are some of the activities you could partake in with the dolphins – all supervised of course. The Lost Chambers of Atlantis sounds like something from a film, but you really can take an excursion which lets you discover the secrets of Atlantis in a labyrinth of chambers inspired by the myths of the lost continent. Imagine exploring the ruins of Atlantis lost for thousands of years beneath the sea and also seeing marine animals swimming all around you. This is a wonderful family adventure that offers something completely different.
One for the kids is the Atlantis Kids club which caters for guests between 3 and 12. Recreation and fun filled programmes are carefully tailored specifically to offer every child a choice of age appropriate activities from exploration and underwater fun to being a chef, or enjoying some time on the beaches.
Club Rush is a similar scheme but aimed at 13 to 18yr olds. It offers a teenage heaven with hang outs including the chill out lounge, the sugar rush bar (serving mocktails of course!), the game zone with all the latest gaming console technology and games, an internet café and entertainments lounge with special lighting and the hottest music in town.
While the kids are enjoying their thing, you could take some time out for something a little more adult. The ShuiQi Spa and Fitness centre is set over two floors within the Royal Towers of Atlantis. Bathing and water therapies, foot treatments, facials, body treatments and beauty treatments are all on offer here for both women and men. There are hair salons, fitness centre, and so much more here, it’s a haven of relaxation and calm.
Of course the beaches here should get a mention – with over 1.4 kilometres of superb beaches available it would seem a shame not to give them a try. There are also several pools too the Royal pool which is nice and serene, the Zero Entry pool with a more family high energy environment, and the towel hut near the Zero Entry pool has a schedule of events posted daily.
